Flag Football 2009 season is under way! Now that we have the rosters pretty much set it’s time for practice to start. We are stoked that we will actually have more than 1 practice before the games start on September 12. Please go to the web and check the rosters to make sure that it will work. I have to admit that not having as many teams has made it quite challenging to meet everyone’s needs when it comes to practice nights. To give you a quick glance at our “Big Board” we put every division and every player down and then tried to match as many people as we could to the night they wanted to practice. Then you add in players people wanted play with and coaches they wanted to play for, then add big brother and little sister in there and it got really tough. FAQ’s
Is it too late too sign up? No way! If you have family or friends that want to play go to Fortifiedhills.com and download a sign up form and bring it by the church.
When will we get our stuff? We will be placing the order today so they should be in by the end of the week. So all teams should have there packet next week.
When will we have the schedule? Games start on September 12. Know that you have a game that Saturday. We will have the schedules to you at you practice that week. Most games will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a few sneaking in at noon.
What colors are the uniforms? I have no clue! It’s been so crazy my first time organizing this stuff I have not even checked yet.
What about email? Calling Post? Or Twitter? We have sent out 1 email to everyone and 3 calling post calls. If you have not received any of those, then you need to call Lee or email him at leebrown@fortifiedhills.com. We are also thinking about setting up an FHUpward twitter account. Do you tweet? Email Lee and let him know if it will be worth it to set it up or not. Could be a great tool to communicate!
